What should I do if I haven’t received any confirmation or other booking reference?

How can I make a booking?
Making a booking is easy, once you have listed the date you need for the service and filled in the form with an address, hotel, B&B or private home.
Please note in case you have a lodge on Corso Umberto of Taormina the meeting point will be at the “Porta Messina” or at the “Porta Catania”, the gate of the city that would be closer to the main way.
The entrance to the historical centre of the city is closed for the reasons of the national security.

The terms of payment:
The reservation will be valid and confirmed only and exclusively after the full payment.
The paid amount is not refundable. Refund is not provided either before or after the date of booking.
The cancellation fee is 100%.

Your baggage allowance:
Each passenger is allowed to carry 1 (one) hand luggage: trolley, backpack, bag of size 55x40x20 cm. max 10 kg. and 1 (one) luggage of size 90x75x43 cm. max 30 kg.

Can I book the service of Taormina Taxi Meeting at different time?
No, the time of the pick-up is fixed and cannot be modified.

How can I recognize the driver?
The driver will meet you at the fixed time with your name at your address or at the hotel in Letojanni, Taormina or Giardini Naxos.

How can I find the driver at the airport?
Once you have collected your luggage, please exit the customs area, turn to the right and go upstairs by the escalator to the departure terminal. Once upstairs please exit the terminal, your vehicle will be outdoor at the scheduled time, please see the map.

All our vehicles are black Mercedes Vito up to 8 passengers, the driver will have the list of the passengers, please kindly check your name.

Can I ask another point of destination in the other town?
NO, it’s not possible.
For the following hotels, such as: Hotel Crystal Sea, Hotel Baia Taormina Grand Palace, Hotel Capo dei Greci or the other hotels that are situated in the towns of Forza d’Agrò, Castelmola, Calatabiano etc., the service of “Taormina Taxi Meeting” is NOT AVAILABLE.

What should I do if I am late or my flight is delayed?
Obviously, you’ll lose your reservation and there will be NO REFUND. The paid amount does not include refunds.

Booking: can I change the date of my transfer?
Yes, by making a new payment. The cost of the reservation is NOT refundable nor changeable.

How long in advance should I book the service?
You should make a booking at least 48 hours before the date of the transfer. Otherwise you should contact our Call Center in order to check the availability of the service on your date.

Can I ask for the driver’s phone number?
NO. If you have any problem please contact our Call Center.

If a child seat or booster is required, how can I request it?
You must enter the request in the space provided during the booking, by specifying the children age in the “Special requests” box.

Is the timetable correct?
Timetable can be a subject to small variations due to traffic, atmospheric events and/or any natural disasters not attributable to of Taormina Taxi Meeting service.

If all bookings come from the same location, what happens?
If more passengers come from the same location or they booked their transfers from the Catania airport to the same town, the driver would not make other stops, but the transfer will go directly to the fixed destination.

How I know for sure I’ve made the booking?
Once the reservation is done, the booking system will send you a confirmation based on availability of seats. Otherwise the system will reject your request.

How many passengers can be transported at the same time?
The capacity of the vehicles of the Taxi Meeting service is up to 7 or 8 passengers at the same time. The system will block any overbooking.

What kind of vehicles do you provide for the service?
We operate exclusively with Mercedes vehicles, such as: Mercedes Vito, Mercedes Viano and Mercedes Sprinter.
